Flights + Transport
Airport: Puerto Vallarta Airport / Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR)
Time to Sayulita: 45 minute — 1 hour drive from the airport
Transportation: We recommend taking a taxi from the airport to Sayulita (around $50 USD). Golf carts are the most common mode of transportation in Sayulita, should you be interested in renting one once you get into town. Renting a car is also an option, but only makes sense if you plan to explore outside of Sayulita.
(We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding on wedding day!)
Don’t forget to renew your passport!
There are direct flights to PVR from LAX and SFO. New Yorkers — JetBlue now has direct service from JFK!
Accommodations
There are many accommodations options in Sayulita. Most are boutique hotels rather than resorts. Visitors often prefer to stay in individual villa rentals or Airbnbs, to which there are plenty in town!
If you prefer to stay in a resort, check out Punta Mita, which is 20 — 30 minutes south of Sayulita.

Why Mexico?
We met a few blocks from the beach and our life together is a few blocks from the beach! Add in the fact that we met on Pacific Street, getting married near the Pacific Ocean just made sense. Eric has spent years vacationing in Puerto Vallarta with his family and it’s a special place for him. We always agreed that a small, intimate wedding with our closest friends and family fit our vision for the big day. We love the idea of the most important people in our lives coming together for one big, fun “family vacation.” We’re biased, but we think it will be the best weekend ever!
